Thongdrel

A Thongdrel is a large applique of rreligious image normally displayed during festivals. They represent the largestdesign of Thangka paintings in Tibetan Buddhist History.Thongdrel means "liberation at sight". It is belived that you will be able to make uo for sins by simply viewing the unfolded Thongdrel. This picture can be used in the history subject to teach about Thongdrel and also the differences betweeen Thongderl and Thangka.
