Paro Dzong

Paro dzong is officially known as Rinpung Dzong and it was built in 1644. It was built to protect Paro from Tibetan invasion.At present it houses the monastic body and government offices, and serves as the religious, military, administrative, and social centers for Paro dzongkhag.this picture can be used to teach the history of Paro Dzong.This can be also used in Geography subject to teach about the location of the Dzong.

📑 Critical analysis of learning experience

Reflection on ICT as Constructive Tool One of the key messages from the session was “ICT is one of the effective methods to help construct and build knowledge.” It serves as a tool for manipulating information, constructing knowledge and visualizing our understanding. As the word ‘construction’ suggests, I learned that it helps us in stimulating our brain by developing critical and creative thinking skills. These skills help us to build motivation to learn and explore further for information.  The session on April 27th focused on collecting class data on each student’s weight and height information. Using the information collected, we then manipulated and organized the data by using formulas for categorization. To visualize our understanding, we created a graph which helped me to gain a clear understanding of the data collected.
